Michelle Malkin reports today that her blog has been subject to threats and denial-of-service attacks and that she has received personal threats of violence regarding her making available the Muhammad cartoons, and presumably for her support of the Buy Danish campaign. Freedom of the press and freedom of speech are Constitutionally-protected rights, both in the United States and in many other countries. I know of no nation with a legal right not to be offended (although some, like Canada, come close), and certainly not the right to engage in violent activity (or the threat of same) in response to some offense. Therefore, in support of Michelle and the other bloggers (and the very, VERY few mainstream media outlets) to run the cartoons and catch the hellfire aftewards, I am running all twelve of the cartoons at the end of this post. I hope other bloggers will stand with Michelle as well. (Hello, Hugh Hewitt?) I find some of the cartoons distasteful; but I find murder, arson, mob violence, etc. more distasteful than anything in the cartoons. And if you want to threaten me? Three words: Bring It On.
