The German government, taking a page from the playbook of the cheese-eating surrender monkeys known as the French, released Mohammad Ali Hammadi from prison and transported him to Lebanon. Hammadi was convicted of murdering U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stetham in Beirut during the hijacking of a TWA flight in 1985. Coincidentally (NOT), the same week, German moonbat / archaeologist / hostage Susanne Osthoff - taken hostage in Iraq - was released by her kidnappers. (See Michelle Malkin's Dec. 20 post How Do You Say "Weasel" in German?)
Now, we see that Juergen Chrobog, former German ambassador to the U.S., and four members of his family, were kidnapped while traveling through the mountains of eastern Yemen. The kidnappers called for the release of several members of their tribe, who were jailed two months ago. (Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle.)
As Captain Ed so eloquently titled his post on this... Who Didn't See This Coming?
Appeasement never works. Ask Neville Chamberlain.
